About Course

The Global Express/5000/XRS FANS-1/A+ training course provides operators with information on background, functions, limitations and human factors of the Global Express/5000/XRS FANS-1/A+ system. The course provides the necessary training to fulfill the requirements listed in the Global Operational Data Link Document (GOLD), Data Link Operational Authorization Outline and FAA AC 120-70C. This course also addresses the training requirement outlined in the FAA National Policy N 8900.297 regarding CPDLC departure clearance (CPDLC-DCL).
